Cleaning Instructions for Radiation Shield Aprons
- Use hanger when not in use.
- Use alcohol and a soapy solution(neutral detergent) for cleansing.
- DO NOT dry clean, launder, or use autoclave.
- Apron should be x-rayed periodically to check for cracks in the x-ray protective lining.
- Depending on the degree of wear and tear, most aprons should be replaced every 18-24 months.
